Hello there!
I think it would be a great idea to have access to the roof on the tower, something like this )

This is a good idea, and it was suggested numerously, but there is a thing - current game engine unable to support this things, and devs will need a fair amout of time to implement that, so as i think, this is not an idea devs must focus for.

I think this one is a part of the object controlled objects the devs said way back. Walk able docks, bridges, etc.
Hopefully they finished the client rewrite so they could start doing other bigger things like this one :D

For the stone tower the devs could fake the effect of object controlled objects by raising the ground up to the level of the tower roof and add a trapdoor.
Though it's not likely that they'll do that.

id rather just wait for a more fleshed out object controlled objects than this bootleg version.

devs should def focus on controlled objects, before they add another dungeon... before they add yet another pvp change... OCO alone would bring a new life to the game... then go straight for custom buildings... game needs something really fresh like that

Anyways, the Tower roof should be accessible. It would be interesting to see it incorporated into that thing Jorb rolled out for critique - Siege Chess or something:
- Implement OCO,
- Stone Towers have 1-2-4 spots on their roofs, allowing to build Anti-Siege devices with longer range than Archery Towers,
- Anti-siege device can be manned, increasing its range and/or damage according to Per*Marksmanship of the user.

Objects controlling objects; something the devs have been working on which will enable completely customizable houses
