RNG kills the fun

No fun in this.

What's the point? Reduce the amount of concurrent users by making them rage quit so you don't have to deal with the server lag problems?

Are you seriously criticizing realism in favor of fun? Should have posted this 2 days ago tbh

I'm enjoying that I have to give a shit about stats tbh. Previous system you almost didn't bother to look at breeding stat, now you do.

crossing to shitty animals is basically gonna fuck you up though.

I just realized: the title was an auto-de-correction. Fixing.

I was ment to say 'RNG'

Overall the game has rng in every element of it.
For example. I have boiled maybe 2000 mussels, got 0 pearls.

We need the rng in everything to combat those blasted botters though.

Second one. I don't complain about the breeding ability, but quality (10+34)/2 => 6 seems way too shitty.

it doesn't seem like that number should be possible, actually, unless they changed the mechanic. anyone know if the wiki is accurate here?

wiki: The quality of any of the calf's stat is the average of the male and female's stat, +20 -> -5 [Verify], and then soft capped by the breeding quality of the male involved

It was changed quite a while ago. No more averaging, each stat randomly selects father's or mother's stat and then applies the -5/+20 to it (still softcapped by father's breeding). In this particular case it picked mother for quality and father for breeding.
