Bad gardener quest

Doing gardener credo and not sure if intended but got a quest to plant troll mushrooms. This is definitely a hard as fuck quest to complete since troll spawns are random as hell. Obviously just going to abandon it but still sucks.

Meh it happens. I had to acquire a mother of pearl for pearl diver 3 or so times in a row, just had to abandon over and over.

Indeed this quest was quite easy last world, when troll mushrooms was cheap on all markets. Need to be reworked

Why should it be reworked? Either trade or abandon. Who said it has to be as easy as getting clover and planting it?
Almost each credo has a gold nugget like this.

No point complaining about single issue.

Credo in general is a shitfest with insane randomness and ridiculous tasks.

Almost never worth to keep hard tasks.
Just abandon this shit and you get something like "eat olive, make farming artifact".

Entire quest & credo system deserves rework.
But after siege and then combat of course because those aspects of game are most retarded currently.

What's the point?
Like there are a credo, you need to do a quest.
One of quests can be done by 10% of players at current world stage.
But this is no problem you can complete this credo anyway, just abandon this quest.

tbf, many of the "ridiculously painful" credos get significantly easier as the world ages.

Much of the quarryman/mining pain has to do with people having undeveloped mining industries for example. When your neighbours don't care if you come hit their black ore a bit late world it gets easier.

It is band-aid but hey, You expect to get 60 times plant 1 clover or something? I'm one of few who get struck hardly by RNG and still, I would like it to be less random but not very easy to do as well.
