Just have low tier forageable ingredients spawn in clusters instead of nerfing foraging by making gardening stronger.

This feels like it would sorta devalue the early usefulness of the forager credo, but otherwise it's a nice idea. Primary issue I can envision is just... too many foragables? Anyone who's played Salem knows what I mean, and it's overbearing.

The reason I mention is Lingon loaf (or whatever it's called) has 2x berries per loaf. So that's 16 needed for a batch in the oven. For essentially a junk low tier item 16 is kinda crazy

We've got plenty of plantables already. Leave something for foragers to do please :(

Because of the current food system, lots of recipes are trash. That's what needs to be fixed imo.

Buff foraging then, by making a new forager's credo bonus: PerExp affect the forageable quality... for example, multiply it by min(1, (sqrt(per*exp)/100))

the better idea is to make the exp*perc sum affect the yield you can collect. example and dont take numbers seriously, just as example:
perc*exp sum requires to see lingonberries is 500, there is 50% chance it will yield another one to be able to be picked up if the player met the requirement of 500*2 and then another one if 1000*2 and so on, giving the foraging progres value with lowest tier forageables as well as giving them some sort of river mussle feeling
