I think if we remove the LP/Hunger rewards from quests as well as change 'Contemplation and Meditation' from 50% Current time to 50% Total Time of the curio (so 2 uses will finish it) makes questing still relevant to do, as you're getting XP and can use contemplate more, but also makes credos more forgiving, this does a few things
1. Contemplation and Meditation increases costs each time you use it, so even if you do quest 24/7 you get diminishing returns, but still gain some reward from it
2. Contemplation and Meditation only does one curio, and I'm aware there's really strong curios, but the really high LP ones are semi-rare, as well as it's still not as much as current trees do
3. Some credos suck because you get "Study 3 strange crystals" or something similar, you can avoid having to abandon as much if you have spare XP
