Bone Fragments

Multislot bone items like moose antlers and mammoth tusks should turn into bone fragments when used in a recipe that does not need that many bones. Every slot they take up should be a bone. Hides become hide patches, bones should become bone fragments.

Reduces the value of especially hql bones, like those from a troll. I support industry getting improved but commodity does not count.

+1 but we need hydraulic press to break them, if you try to break bone with hands then you get something broken wound.

even if it was possible it wouldn't really be a good idea to use tusks for something other than ivory figurines, because mammoths give a neat amount of regular bones, but the other ones are not really used a lot and it doesn't make much sense to use them if you can just use regular bones while the other ones count as 1 regular bone anyway

Not sure if we should be able to split bone like we split hide, but I would greatly appreciate that when You use a bigger bone, it automatically counts for as many slots as big it is + the rest (instead of trying to take 1 piece and break entire bone).

Ok maybe hydraulic press is stupid, sawing bone with metal saw is more serious.

Might need some tweaking for various bones. But aside from that this sounds like a good idea.
