The issue we're discussing is not botting though. It's the "let us ALL take part in hunting even if we don't have 400 surv" and "still make it impossible to get q400 bones at day 1". And moving hardcap to spawning instead of damaging solves both.

The botting part is just a bonus! Yes, big bois can raise alts with 400 surv, probably will. But it's also much more enjoyable to kill a bot with 400 surv that won't just reappear again in several minutes.

As I understand animals spawn when a character loads a map tile. Why not just take that character's survival into consideration during that process and hardcap any animals spawned by them?

1. Gangbang that animal as much as you want - the q won't drop, anyone can take part.
2. There will be no q500 mammoths spawning at day 1.
3. There will be no naked alts running around checking q500 mammoths spots at later stages.

Pure profit for everyone. Well, except for the guys that use those naked alts of course.

And now your miner needs to boost surv because of trolls.

Maybe make it check if fighters have hunter credo and cap it by lowest survi of non credo fighter and if everyone have hunter, cap it by highest survi of fighter.
This way you have to put little work into your gangbang alt and you have possibility of helping without boosting survi
