Instant show item tooltip

Instant show item tooltip

Can we have item tooltips on hover to show up instantly rather than waiting for couple of seconds for it to show up?
It's rather slow especially when I'm trying to make notes on my cooking recipe book :|

I wouldn't mind having some key cause instant tooltips. Otherwise I like the pause, so having to hold alt or something would be preferable to me.
