I have been raging for the past year or so that there is no sewing shoe, and with the wolverine boot and the walrus boot, there are shoes that guild for attributes other than agility, so I got to thinking and "Hobnail shoe" popped into my head. a shoe with nails hammered into the sole to make it more resilient... well, damn. that's Smithing if anything...

then i looked up a list of shoe types... "Fashion boots" hmm... sole purpose is to look good. PERFECT!

Let's require some silk for Fashion, Prepared Otter hide for silky texture and to give a use for otter hides, Leather for the Boot Soles, and finer plant fiber to hold it all together. and there we have a wonderful shoe for the discerning tailor!

How about some frilly 17th century french heels?

Maybe they could be blue like silk.

This sounds like a reasonable request, and I don't hate the French High Heels either!

I would argue against that. in early civilization and small settlements, there was no reason to have a fashion type shoe(read sewing) everything was utilitarian, and everything was made by the people that used them for the most part. it was not until civilization expanded and there was more time for goofing off that tailors and fashion came into common use. I think that sewing shoes should be a little more difficult and behind a wall of some sort.
