Early Frying Pan

Postby Lunarius_Haberdash » Sat Apr 20, 2019 8:38 pm

I think it would be nice to have an early game frying pan, especially now that there have been certain changes made to food and surely more to come.

Acre Clay could be used to make a frying pan that essentially functions like a clay cauldron, halving the quality of anything cooked in it.

The frying pan already is an early game frying pan

This is also my only gripe with a clay frying pan. You can get metal in 3-4 days if you push for it, and thats pretty early in the scheme of things.

I have to agree with this, ultimately. Metal is really easy to get... for some people. I myself can't swing a pickaxe without hitting a vein, but that doesn't stop me from hearing about people having great difficulty getting metal for whatever reason. The suggestion stands, however.

It's just slower to heat, but once hot, retains its heat and is an excellent cooking surface.

We have clay cauldrons even though metal ones are "better"
So why not clay frying pans?
