Indicate if hitching post has an animal leashed to it.

Could be quick easily by removing a bit of the rope from the unused ones.

I agree, could be quick and simple. Or even a small interface that show what is ropped to the hitching post and tame %.

But simple is better i think since hitching post is not a big part of the game once the taming process is done the hitching post become less useful.
