Would be nice to build a portico on a P-Claim

At the mo I travel down to my neighbour to use the portico to get around. I don't really feel the need to fart out a village just to build a portico

Would be great to build a portico (or something similar) on a P-Claim. You could even say that it only works if the claim has full presence and even drains it an amount to prevent abuse.

Just for convenance. Please Daddy Jorbtar. Give us these fine presents

People who are too lazy to make a village don't deserve presents, a single character can incredibly easy keep a village at full authority so this entire thread is unnecessary nonsense.

That all seems unnecessarily harsh. I don't want a village claim for various reasons

What reasons? It's super easy to use an alt to maintain a vclaim.

Teleportation, while being convenient, destroys map locality and removes random encounters.

It shouldn't be extended but reduced, at the same time roads should be upgraded to give a speed boost (like several speed levels depending on how the surface was been processed, pavement giving the highest increase) while traveling along them. Combined with a mechanic that automatically de-vines road pavement by use. And things like being able to travel along roads with wagons.

Normally after about 2 months of play I start to go very heavy into casual gaming. I just can't see myself being able to keep up with the time needed for the village claim just for a portico. Plus I like the size of my P-Claim, I don't want anything bigger

Make a village and prepare a wrecking ball next to it for when you go casual.

Also you can figure out your authority drain and have a character study high LP curios that could last you for months.

Example would be something like shiny marbles and snowglobes.

But if you are truely too lazy for all of these things and don't mind the risk of having a village claim over you to mess with you, then it's not worth to change a game mechanic for you I think.

A basic village takes almost no effort to keep up. If you are managing livestock, and are logging in every day or two, it won't be an issue.
