Problems
- Lack of energy-food
- satiations take too long to heal now?
- The satiations on some food make them useless?
Solutions
Adding even more foods with different satiation combinations, more interesting hunger vs FEP vs Energy combinations.
Maybe dried meat or more nut-based foods could work as very low-satiating and very high energy alternatives?
Maybe there could be some foods that add in a mechanic like the previous satiation mechanic. Like what if certain kinds of food actually had a % chance to knock down another satiation?
Maybe eating a raw normal fruit has 10% chance to satiate fruit by 20% but also has a 5-10% chance to knock 5-10% off your meat satiation, for example.
Also may be worth considering lowering the hunger % on some foods too. Like eating a fruit between meals in real life, it doesn't make you feel less hungry, it can actually make you feel MORE hungry.
Also consider adding a few additional types of food to each satitaion group so we can explore and satiate each group while we feast and try to satiate them all while gaining all relevant feps we desire.
Another idea
New variable "eating vessels"
We use a table to "feast." We eat at tables to fill our stomachs, to have massive meals where we would surely feel very satiated after eating, we would not desire to have more food and it would take time for us to feel like eating again.
What if eating from, say, a "snack bag" or "lunch box" or just not on a table would make food act differently?
I don't grab a handful of peanuts or an apple to become full, and after eating a few apples do you feel like you could not possibly eat another? Or do you just feel like you have enough sugar and energy after your snack to keep on going?
Maybe eating off a table should add a different dynamic to foods where the energy is the main things that it counts and the satiations and feps are much lower?
