Make combat in groups more dynamic!

Add fancy new combat moves that are based on charisma and will. They would all effect other members in the same party as the user in some way. One could give the closest party member a speed boost to the user for a cost of the users openings or cooldown. Another could gain IP for other party members excluding the user for a cost of IP and cooldown and maybe even stamina? Maybe a move called battlecry that when used increases attack weight of the party members. All of these moves could only be used by the leader of the party. It would consider both the charisma of the user and the target, as well distance between the two players. Make haven great again!

Speed boost from a charisma or will based character otherwise unrelated to fighting huh? What could possibly go wrong.

Group combat is already fairly dynamic, certainly more so than 1v1 or 2v2. Large group fights have always had some amount of success as long as the combat system hasn’t been too terrible in that regard as group combat does not rely on having a good combat system as much as individual fights do. I think for combat to take on more dynamic forms it needs to be changed rather significantly, it would be difficult to take the current combat system and apply it in a way that creates a system in which players are forced to adapt their tactics more often.

Speed boosts gained from any stat are just plain retarded.

It's already dynamic for people who are actually good at it.

Bodyblock is biggest nightmare, and a goood skill to have if you are coordinated with some people.

Ok so lets pretend there are other ideas other than the movement idea, what about those?

To add this in current gamestate would just make things easier on behalf of attackers, considering most fights are actually one side outnumbering another.

So yes maybe more dynamic but also less chance for party that's already at disadvantage

Wouldnt the speed boost to a player in a party make it easier for defends to escape? They would only have a speed boost towards the Leader of the party or the user just like rabbits and squirrels.

It doesn't need to be easier to escape, it's already easy enough.
