Farming is intensely unfair to real people

This is what the q growth looks like, depending on how many different plots you have. 100 plantings means you get 100 totally separate random number roles.
x -> crop cycles
y -> q

The solid lines are the average, the dotted lines are +/- 2 standard deviations. They represent 95.4% of cases

Average number of crop cycles to get from q10 to q1000
    1     532.23
    2     345.77
    3     285.19
    4     272.06
    5     261.61
    6     253.05
    8     246.62
    10   241.82
    100 225.99
Most of us don't have time to plant 100 different times over hundreds of different mini-maps. Robots have time to do this and more. End the injustice

Having 3 plots is normal. Upping it to 100 gives you a 26% increase in q. If you run a bot farm, you SHOULD have tens of plantings, or more. Because the RNG is both based on time and space, they simply need to span a 100 space-time mini-maps.

Honestly that just makes it sound way worse.

Way to take the OP's example of unbelievable extremes to heart. Notice how trailing right behind the "100's of plantings" example is the "10's of plantings."

Bots being required to maintain competitive quality growth is retarded but jorb doesn't care.

No, you don't understand!
If the current system were fixed we'd have to sort seed again for some reason

I would welcome seed sorting back again.

Also, the bigger village, the more people can replant both in time and space.

I think that I made a thread about this earlier this week.
The problem is that if you are a casual player and can only replant your crops once a day or two. You will not get close to the quality gain of somebody who has a bot that can replant his crops once every hour and pick out the best ql.

Solution for this would be constant quality increase for crops for each replant. No rng, no location based bullshit.
Or then bring back seedsorting, at least it gives chance for noobs to catch the pro players if noobs sort their seeds.

It would be better to reverse the system in a manor. Increase the ql of crops the longer they have been planted passed there final stage. Max of plus 5 ql after 5 days. Will need to make a full suggestion with clarity.

Simply put you want the product fast harvest fast.

You want ql leave it to grow.

Also farming times are WAAAAYYY TO FAST. Spending every day farming one crop or 10 is just bad.
