What's the point of the golden lure?

No one's gonna spend gold nuggets on making a lure that gives you boring old low q fish. Even whales and old boots (which are now nearly worthless thanks to coracles by the way) can be gotten pretty easily with a trash q fishing pole and some entrail stockpiles. Can we get a reason to use fancy fishing equipment, please?

I also think fishing rod/string/lure quality should influence fish quality. Old boots might be worth a bit more if it was possible to get decent q versions of them.

Fishing overall could use some fleshing out. Its already somewhat interesting but adding some more sounds way fun.

golden hook to double the quality of catch! I'm sure it modifies what You can actually catch but who cares about chances outside of credo. Poor fisherman has no gold, rich fisherman is not fishing, especially not with gold, unless they are known from being moneybags.

You can pretty much catch every type of fish just by wandering around or fishing at different times of the day. There's literally no reason to make a lure out of gold even if you're rich.

I've talked to people who used the golden lure, it doesn't do anything special.

You can use the pole to fish up garbage. It's kind of fun sometimes.
