Okay, so the main bragging rights in this game are obviously PVP related, but what if there was some room for people to have bragging rights over more mundane and silly things?
I have been told that jorb is against the idea of a leaderboard, but I hope this suggestion is different enough to change some minds.
I don't know how much of this data is actually collected or how much of a pain it would be to START collecting it if it wasn't, but hear me out.
What if there was a totally hidden leaderboard that kept track of 100s of ingame things? From most PVP kills, to most horse bollucks eaten, to most foxes flayed. The catch would be that only 1 of these things is displayed on the website every day, or maybe it could even change every 12 hours or something. It's not a static leaderboard where people can keep track of pvp kills and use it as a main motivator, and maybe PVP kills is not even included at all, who knows. The point is that it would give bragging rights for much less serious things, AND, maybe at the end of the world some of these leadersboards can be drawn randomly and put in a lottery to win a hat or something.
So it's like there is actually a tiny bit more competition to all aspects of the game. If you see one day you are like 50 flayed foxes behind the person who has flayed the most, you might never see that leaderboard again but you'll want to flay more foxes in hopes that you will be #1 fox flayer and that your #1 spot might count as a ballot for end of the world hat.
Don't act like it's not a FUN idea.
