sooooooo i know this isn't salem, but i feel like that is about the only good thing salem has that H&H doesn't. please create stock bins on h&h. they help a lot for organizing when you have 100s or 1000s of coal and ore.

We have one better: stock piles...

i'm not sure if i'm being serious or facetious here... there are trade offs on how it is managed and amount stored. The stockpile is more freeform and doesn't require any extra material outlay, which is why I'm being serious. If I recall right, the bins usually held more, so they had the advantage there (but if I recall right, at least the last time I played Salem, you couldn't pick them up and move them).

Agreed. With just how fluid stockpiles are, they have been one of the most crucial quality of life improvements in the game.

I can however see a point to adding some large stockpiles for very, very specific (and common) items.

Thinking of buckets -> barrels -> the big ass storage things for liquids. That's an alright improvement. Coal, ore, and stone would be the most obvious ones that could maybe benefit from this, for example.

Thats the idea mass amounts of raw materials could be stored like 2k coal in a bin rather than 100 in 6 stockpiles in the same space. might even improve lag due to less items to load on screen. {1 bin vs 6-20 piles}

I've been thinking about stock bins in the way they are implemented in Salem and Wurm: for storage and transporting purposes respectively.
At this moment we are using wheelbarrows in that way (grab a pile, put wheelbarrow into the cart or ship) and that's somewhat weird.
What i wanted to suggest is some kind of bin\crate that can be moved when empty or when filled loaded to the cart\wagon\ship in the way things are loaded to the raft.
Since we have coninents and ships, that might be a better, more realistic way to transport things over the sea.

I agree that some sort of transport crate would be useful.
