If we can burn logs, why not enable us to burn standing forests? It was a much used strategy to clear land for agriculture.

I guess this would make early world resemble hell, with the whole surface being on fire - at least when I understand you correctly that the fire should spread between trees (to burn a forest, not a tree)...

Being able to put entire log into bonfire (with extended burn time or something) is the best solution here imho, if not straight being able to destroy logs (while cruel splinter could still happen both as punishment and reward ¦] ).

Maybe animals should rot too?

I see you have never raised tree quality. Please leave  :ugeek:

My tree's are ~q150 right now as a hermit, though.

Are you raising quality on one type of tree or multiple? If you're raising the quality of several at once it's easy to end up with piles of logs.

Domestic animals don't rot. Maybe they should, though. It's true that everyone always ends up with unholy amounts of old dead animals.

Multiple, of course, as stated by the plural form of tree: trees. Spruce, Pine, Mulberry, etc, etc.

I, in fact, have a constant shortage of logs to use so I should probably be planting more often than I am to remedy that..
