Only in your own area (village or personal claim (priority idk maybe who was first)). Main reason is wall/palisade forming.

Agreed.

Fixing incorrectly built palisades or just growing your village is fairly annoying thanks to this. I'd welcome such change as well. It's a 24 hr cd for 1-5 tiles destroyed. Dealing with a wall of any decent size takes 10+ wrecking balls and a few days at this point.
Everytime I find something that doesn't make sense I can almost see Jorb grinning and mumbling to himself: "working as intended."

Maybe only for the lawspeaker.

If you just connect this to the ''vandal'' permission, be prepared to see lots of insiders raiding a village in a couple of hours when people sleep.

What am I saying, it only takes 1 alt and 5 minutes or less to open up a wall and let the fighters in.

Special village permission perhaps? I've never had decent STR on any of my lawspeaker characters in the past. Usually miners are the ones who have to do this kind of labor :)

Owner, not recruited member, wrecking ball is simple to use, does not require so much "str" attribute.
Should be possible when shield is full.
If not wrecking ball then maybe new skill something like "Get out of my way palisade"

There is no shield but yes I agree that you can do it easily on 10 strength it doesn't really matter.

Tried repeatedly asking for variations of this, I think in the last Loftar stream and an update thread a while back. The response is something along the lines that they don't want magical claim shenanigans.

I know this post is fairly old, but i want to suggest that cascaded break from wrecking ball should be bashable by hand, maybe lover it soak value to half the amout it had before, it will take some amout of time and strenght, and i think only persons who really want some redesign(like me because of my OCD and mistake with building village idol one tile to side) will spend hours while bashing them

Having to take out old walls that are no longer in use is incredibly annoying, and I also agree there should be some leniency on the time gate required for managing these walls within your own village.
