yes
if credo level gives +20 str, is should stay as bonus assigned to character instead of increasing stats
each level of stats costs more or requires more fep, it would be great adjustment if that could be added in form of bonus, same as item bonuses are added ( bear cape, etc )

why ? because if I am at 200 str and 50 psyche that I want to bring up, I might not necessary want to go to 220 str stat, but I would definitely love to stay 200 and have permanent bonus !

solution ?
in character model add attribute credo bonuses, that will work similar to gilded gear, and every achieved credo bonus will go to that pool, should be easy

I see no reasons for anyone to dislike that idea and no reasons not to implement it

I like it the way it is. It's pretty damn easy to get +100-150 bonus in some stats. And getting 200-300 is just a stretch of getting better quality.

Also, you come back a bit better off after a death with the current application of credos than if it were a bonus such as from realms or gilds. (If I remember this part correctly. Apologies if I'm wrong.)

For FEPs and eating, if you're at 200, 20 points isn't going to be a huge difference. You either have the quality food to easily make up for it, or you can work on using the variety bonus to help mitigate the difference.

Just another reminder that credos aren't necessarily meant to be an "as soon as you can do it" thing. There are big penalties both in LP and in needed FEPs to raise stats for pushing them early and hard, and I think it's a fair trade-off for the bonuses many bring. Adding the stat and skill increases to the bonus now means you may not even see the benefits for those for some weeks or maybe months depending on how strong your industry is.

It was already discussed with Jorb in w10, and he said no. Also, credo bonuses on the start of this world were very helpfull, forager's perc and exp, quarryman's str bonuses were just a breakthrough in character development.

Idk. It's come up a few times. Arguments for and against. (Bonuses are capped at double your present value, for example.) Considering.

Ok, i See what you mean about breakthrough, once you manage to get quaryman and miner you get +35 that can be then doubled by gilding so you effectively get +70, it makes sense to keep it this way then as it is more rewarding for specialized groups as per credo idea
