So we all know botters have a massive advantage when it comes to farming. But what if automating farms was a tool available to everyone? Perhaps hearthlings could hire magical creatures to farm for them. They would require a steady supply of food to avoid dying, despawning or turning hostile. Obviously we should be able to put store hats on them. The farming skill would still be relevant thanks to gardening and trees.

Botters would still have an advantage, but less so. Yeah... this is another one of those ideas I suspect might be pants-on-head retarded. Apologies if it is. :oops:

I think that this is a really good idea. Personally I would prefer the goblins to be cute little golems made of wax, but that's just minor aesthetics.

Even just adding something like Minecraft's redstone would probably make the game a lot more interesting, but that might just be because I really like redstone
