Animal fat as protection from frostbite

When you guys decide to add frostbite, let us use animal fat as warming balm.

We have more then enough warm clothes i think?

And for newbies something like a 3 day protection from frostbites would be cool.

Temperature, heat stroke, frost bites, definitely should be added.
Metal armor during winter should give frostbites! (Having some padding etc. as insulation does not help when its really cold like -20'c)

Metal armor already has leather in recipe, moreover you have other clothes under armor, so it saving from frostbites

Shubla's right on the armor not really helping with warmth in the severe winter weather. That's what furs are for, and they can be worn over armor of any type (assuming they're cut and sized for such purposes).

Also, the leather in the recipe can be considered for several things--padding, connecting straps, etc. I wouldn't consider it as part of the padding as a vapntreyu is an optional armor piece in the game.

Just add warm gloves and boots as a part of clothing. We already have fur coats.

This is exactly the reason such things shouldn't be added, unless it's more the consequence of digging in the snow too much, not simply "existing in the winter" unprotected. 3 days is most definitely not going to be enough for someone first starting the game.

A temperature gauge that is affected by (lack of) heat sources, applying penalties on the extreme ends, works quite well in several other survival games.
