I haven't played much in the past few years but will this affect the food trade economy?
Wouldn't the health nerf give more power to better weapons rather than better character stats or am I bad at math?

Totally NO.

Simplification is the well-known game killer.

Unable to rise stats by eating the same food looks logical, so satiations are just OK. It makes gameplay deeper apart from just food-eating race.

Before apply constitution changes take a good look on wounds system, it can be incompatible with new formulas.

Actually there always was two ways to get stats - with big amount of food, or with big quality and rare ingredients hard to craft food.
When hunger and satiations gates are enabled - you are unable to get any profits from big amounts of food, so not all playing styles is acceptable.

It still doesn't solve the motivation problem why should i increase stats while they are useless.

Still doesn't do anything about certain foods being the best by far, and since you can't constantly shovel food in your mouth cause of hunger (i mean u can but idk maybe? i still try to use ravenous when possible) so certain foods will still be better in every way compared to other foods with equal or greater effort put in.

I think bum burn should stay as is to help regulate the pepper being used if this goes into affect.
