Ok, so while i do like the idea of credos and all that, it seems like the way the tree is made with all the mixed requirements for dif credos means everyone got the same credos to some degree:
''Of course I'm a master Forager! How else could i have become a blacksmith?!?''
''I wanted to be a cook, but my uncle told me: You can't cook if you can't kill, go train with the hunters!''
It also removes the feeling that we are all different people with our own uniqueness, since everyone can be everything....henceforth reducing player interactions.
With that in mind, I think it would be nice to have credos arranged into different 'professions' for example:
Outdoorsman; Forager-Hunter-Strider-
Peasant; Farmer-Gardener-Herder
Craftsman; Potter-Tailor-Blacksmith
Caveman; Quarryman-Miner-Gem Hunter
Shaman; Mystic-Scholar-Cave Hermit
Wanderer; Nomad-Wandering Sage- ? (Only Cook left to place, but not sure it would really belong here, although i guess wanderers Do have to learn to cook for themselves hehe)
Boatman; Fisherman-Lumberjack-Pearl Diver
By allowing only 1 or maybe 2 of these professions per character, it would be both easier to specialize your character and give everyone their own 'flavor'. It could also be one main profession you can fully master, followed by a second once the first is completed where you could be 'Adept' ie: Can only get the first 3 bonuses for each credos in your adept profession.
I would very much like to hear everyone's thoughts on this!
