different colored ribbons for trees

It would be nice to be able to sort and organize when trees are picked and for various other reasons. Ribbons use a dye and some cloth, requires a metal nugget or something to pin to a tree.

yeah thats cool and a lot already do. Some might not lend themselves to that though, like the millburry one. I like the idea so I can pin the ones i want to keep vs the ones i want to chop down. I think modders would like it as they would have away to identify and chop shit down en masse.

this. being able to tie or pin ribbons to trees would allow better cooperation between people as it would be easy to mark which trees to chop faster or later or leave them be and stuff for people in village without every player having to inspect them all everytime or using external software to pass data about those trees

Yep. This is it exactly. We have a carpenter to make boards and a separate one that plants trees and farms. It would be a huge quality of life upgrade for an orcharge run by more than one person.

There's already a ribbon curio, just let us post it in the tree. It's kind of cost prohibitive as is.
