Cave Hermits

Let the cave hermits grow crops on the biomes of mines/caves, so we can have a play style of fully being a cave hermit. Crops should grow slower than on surface though

Needs special cave only crops.

Indeed, growing traditional plants in caves is weird - they requires sun.
Instead, some cave cereal, fibre and tuber plant will be good. Not sure it should require cave hermit to grow, maybe just for more efectively usage, e.g. faster growing and bigger yield.

Mushrooms should grow faster in caves and basements, because the underground usually provide optimal humidity and growing environment for fungi to thrive.

Perhaps cave hermits can utilize their knowledge of the cave to speed up mushroom cultivation.

Some mushrooms growing faster underground totally make sense. For example I'm pretty sure troll mushrooms dont grow faster underground at all.

Yes, but it would be fun to grow crops in mines. I guess it would require some kind of artifical hearth magic light to be placed around crops and refueled from time to time to make the crops grow in mines.

if it comes to live and forages get buffed people would target sustainable cave hermits to be nerfed next
