Stagnant Stump Water

I was wandering about thinking about the new world and quaint new features we could see in it. One that occurred to me was the possibility of the stumps occasionally having stagnant water in them that you could pull into a flask or other container.

Stagnant stump water wouldn't be as refreshing as regular water, could potentially cause a self-curing wound/illness on occasion for drinking it. But it could also have some curio or other point of interest that spawns in it, making it worth checking the stumps at the very least.

Also, for long treks through the wilderness where, perhaps, you've forgotten to take along enough water... You have options.
