Moving Animal Quality Nodes

Make quality nodes for animals not be static.
They should be randomized every new season cycle.
More reasons to go explore new areas and a chance for more people to take part in trading high quality animals or their locations.
Also less botting.

Agreed. Same for any other node (except stone/ore). Once every ingame year would be perfect.

A world that persists for such a long time (1/2 years) should not have static nodes. All exploring is done after the first weeks because the map is completely static.
Changing node qualities would at least encourage constant exploring.

On the other hand, unchanging node qualities would make certain locations more desirable than others, which makes your choice of where you settle more meaningful and encourages sieging villages hoarding high-quality nodes.

I like the other nodes as they are. They could still be contested.
High quality animals have a huge impact on the game as you can get ridiculous quality numbers on their products early and that's why I suggested this balance change.

I was thinking something very much like this last night. Animal quality nodes that move as the seasons change and that fluctuate in q from year to year. It would be interesting to start a new year by hunting up the best animal nodes for that year. In fact, you'd have to do this every season to make the most of it. As someone who enjoys hunting and spends a fair amount of time doing it, I'd love this. It would keep hunting fresh and active, with new surprises waiting every week or month or so.

Honestly, if this were to be implemented, cycling every year would be best. That's once every 4 weeks, giving time to both find and exploit these new nodes before it was time to start looking again.
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

The high quality nodes will always belong to a few big factions, giving them a monopoly on good resources. Luckily in the past few worlds some factions have been generous by sharing their high Q well/clay, but I can imagine not all of them would be so welcoming. I get your point, but just have a different opinion about what would be more desirable ^^

seems better than the random anamal quality espicaly since when you first settle for most villages they dont move agian when they find out oh we happned to settle where animal q is bad
