Animal Armor interactions with hunting quests

Quests that ask us to kill, and especially quests to "put an arrow in" a kind of animal are now MUCH harder than before and warrant a look-at given how frequently they become the choke for credo progression and just basic questing.

It's not the first credo to run into this issue. Glimmermoss being a kind of notorious one for forager as the world progresses. The quest abandon mechanic exists to solve this, but imo the real issue is when it's quest #1 and you lose thousands of LP.

Maybe the suggestion should be that abandonning quest 1 work differently. Instead of deleting the credo, maybe a 1hour cooldown before it gives you a new one? It would be far more palatable to most players imo.

+1 to this idea, even if it was an 8 or 24h cooldown I'd be happy.

Probably should be enough to shoot and hit the animal, not actually do hp damage to it. It would certainly be as valid a change to fix the current hunter issue.

Actually killing X animal (that has armor) could be a serious problem for some weeks to come, though.

I dont understand why there is no penalty for abandoning a level on a credo but going down a quest.

why not just have a "try again" button on quest one.. yes the first quest will just be skipped until an easy on is given but thats a better situation then half the peeps getting unlucky and losing 10k just to reset a quest
