So i've been trying to go pure unarmed, and i tried out all the combat styles this world.

Melee is, as usual, good.

Bow is much better than last world, even with low marksmanship.

Unarmed is pretty underwhelming, and actually terrible vs armored enemies.

Currently, the main issue is that weapons have armor penetration, as do the various arrow types. While there are only two items that increase unarmed damage, neither of them provide armor penetration.

Ideally, I would like to see maybe one or two more damage increasing items for gloves, maybe even just something as simple as bows have, where the arrows provide 5/10/20 armor pen.

So, make the knuckles have 5%, the lynx claws have 10%, and something harder to make, maybe with steel, 20% penetration.

Armorpen doesnt work against pve

As the game sits unarmed vs. armor is bad. The only way to fix that is a martial art system that allows you manuevers using it against them. (not talking eastern martial arts but rather western.)

Bow should be king in most cases, unless your opponent gets close.

On penetration the only way to actually hurt with any force is to actually pierce the armor in most cases. Now blunt weapons should do significant damage as the armor may soften a blow but you will still get the impact. ie. club, mace...
