Slings and PVP light infantry

We all know the state of pvp, so, why not have a light infantry kind of weapon, a ranged one that you can shot on the move while chasing or being chased with swords, axes and spears being left in the state they are now.

Add a move "shot" that works only with slings and lets you throw stones on the go, lock it behide the hunter credo or rage, it might put one of the most early and unseen weapons into use by dedicated 'light infantry' used to chase down wounded enemies, or as a side arm for every warrior.

Also add cast bullets for slings, basically every civilization who used slings in war at some point made cast bullets or stone carved ones, it takes a nugget, or makes 10 from a bar of metal or something.

i've only dealt with hermit problems on previous worlds, but on this one as my first worldstart in a faction i got to experience fights bigger than 3 peeps chasing a poor hermit. Said so, the running around on my first two ground battles felt kinda weird, specially after one side gets a hand up, plus theres not much harassing and no use of ranged weapons besides for the ocasional thrown spear, which i love btw, spears are nice, but, we have a very complex game that falls short on combat bigger than 1v1 due to lack of diversity and ranged weapons.

Sling harassing or another form of integrating ranged weapons into our run-a-run combat would be very nice

Just consider that we still have no use for ranged weapons on pvp, spear aside, and that most options become useless as time passes.

The idea of having higher Q slings or bows, or whatever being produced for actual pvp can add a lot to the actual variety we have, my suggested way might not be the best way of introducing it but consider how to do it better then instead of looking for who brought it up.

Why would anyone not use only slings?

If a person doesn't care enough to post on their real account, then why should we (or the devs) care in the first place either?

Seems hard to believe that this can be taken seriously when the one posting doesn't even have the time in game to even be in a real fight, so letting such a person suggest ideas about a integral part of the game would be like letting a baby do the calculations for a rocket to land on the moon. A bad idea.

The damage would be low compared to the main melee weapons, and as i said, maybe it would end up as a side weapon to every warrior to use for harassment while there's ammo or to chase a wounded enemy down.

But honestly, even if pvp became a fight of ranged weapons it wouldn't change that much from the running around we got now. Again, if you can think of a better way of doing it say it, muh discussion.

The factionalism and infamia of named ones give and take away way too much credit without reason, if this was anonymous conversations would flow way better due to every post being judged by its contents and nothing else.
