Make potters clay good again

Undo the nerf changing it to requiring bone clay.

I'm just curious, did anybody actually use potters clay last world for higher Q over bone clay?

With the massive nerf it took to requiring bone clay it almost made it probably obsolete/unobtainable to a good 75% of the player base, in a game like this you are always going to have that one material in a type that reigns dominant over the rest. right now, and prior to potters credo, it was always bone clay. Potters clay was much nicer in terms of achievable quality without being absolutely cancer to produce like it is right now which renders it completely obsolete.

IMO (and i'm sure most of the player base would agree tbh) potters clay should either have its nerf reversed or just remove it from the game because theres no point in it existing right now. Considering it was already gated behind 3 credos i'd say that was enough to warrant it being the better resource over bone clay without it requiring bone clay in its recipe.

In w10 i absolutely loved potters clay because it was high q, but not super high and allowed us to make smelters and garden pots of decent q. Plus having it use fine clay atm destroyed the recipe for me and everyone else because why go and make it if its inferior to boneclay and you already dont want to waste fine clay so just go and make boneclay anyways. to me it created a market for gray clay and offered a way for newbs to get some sembalance of decent q that the factions could sell.

Id say bring it back take out the fine clay but nerf it a little to the point where it wont beat out boneclay but it can get close. Like say you can get close to boneclay of q100 but potters ends up like 70q.

Also i miss having pink garden pots/bricks.

would like to bump this again since it was buried.

Potter's clay is useless in the game right now, lets say for arguments sake you have Q400 bones, a Q300+ feldspar, Q50+ cave clay, Q250+ coal
With this you would have roughly around a Q200 kiln, and would be making around Q205 bone clay.

Now lets say you actually spend the time to also get the potters credo.

Potters clay: you have 205Q bone clay, Q55+ acre clay, Q60+ ball clay, Q50+ gray clay and for arguments sake, roughly around a Q200 potter's wheel, maybe higher, who knows.
With all of this, you will get Q119 potters clay.

That is fucking dumb. Potters clay, and the potters credo is completely and utterly useless right now for quality, and at that point there is only 2 real options for its fate, either fix it by removing the super nerf or just remove potters credo from existence because its completely pointless.

Unless the recipes for level 9 and 10 mine hole have changed the only actual use this world for potters clay is for those two mineholes, at which point you either make an alt just to get potters faster because you'll likely have finished enough credos that you're at 16/18 quests per level minimum, or you bit ethe bullet and go down that credo path just to get potter to get lower levels, that's assuming you're with one of the power houses that get the meteors OR want to spend actual money on subs or some shit to trade for it. Which at that point of the game you think, what's even the point in playing this and just quit.

In a nutshell: Potters clay is useless, Potter's credo is stupid, either remove credo, remove potters clay and replace with a buff to bone clay, or fix potters clay.

That just means that the only use for Potter's clay would now be mineholes and the new curio. Still a pretty useless credo at that point based on the above arguments.
jorb: I don't want *your* money. You are rude and boring. Go away.
Sevenless: We already know real life has some pretty shitty game mechanics, it's why we're here instead.
Avu: The end is near it has finally come to pass: I agree with Lunarius...
Shubla: There are also other reasons to play this game than to maximize your stat gain.

Depending on the curio quality. Lot of people do gardener solely for the bluebells.

Why would you not be growing things for stats if you're growing curios? LP is also a stat...
