If your Realm has lots of buffs, challenging cairns of Realm that has no buffs at all should be made free.

Isn't it creating a way, where strong will become even stronger, and no chance for weaker ones?

It is, but how do we discourage blocker realms solely designed to hinder progress of other realms and deny buffs to the people living under it?

Do you really think that if someone manages to build troll coronation stone, he will not manage to take at least one buff?
I think there is nothing to do. If you cant beat troll realm guys on challenging their border - you should not have advantage over them.

Do you not remember Motherland from last world? It was not a real realm's fighters defending a fake realm.

Yes and while you're at it lets make every single aspect of game grief-free too because I'm already getting tears in my eyes thinking about people who might use game mechanics to work against me.

Shit idea, shit thread, "fake realm" needs to be expanded in same way as "regular" and is also removed in the same manner, literally no issues except in your biased mind.

By definition, griefing is bad.

Griefing is done with the sole intent of making other players unhappy. Killing someone to take their things or push them out of an area is not griefing. Killing someone to make them unhappy or quit the game is griefing. Discouraging griefing, while still having mechanics that allows for player conflict and interaction, is a good thing to have.

So yeah, power tripping kids who get their jollies off to pissing off other players aren't a community most of us want to cater to.

By definition, griefing is a matter of perspective.

Griefing is done with ''a'' motivation of the perpetrator and the result on other players varies.
Claiming over someone who does not want this, even if you have buffs, can be thus seen as griefing.
Claim over your enemies to farm them for xp.
Claim over someone who does not want buff because they want nothing to do with you, is still griefing.
You may speed up their crop grow cycles and they feel they cannot keep up with the game anymore and quit.

It is all relative and the idea proposed in this thread as a result is just garbage.

''Most of us'' is also very relative because you are just counting people who write on forums, who still choose to engage with this.
Many haven given up and therefore their views are not heard.
It may be a logical result because they do not post but there must also be reason for that.

If we go into this direction then the biggest ''community'' within haven will get to make the rules.
Which kills the freedom, which is a bad thing. Relatively. Like how all things are relative.

There are already mechanics regarding realms and they are equal for all, if your realm is so succesful and powerful to be on top and have buffs etcetera why would you need a discount in regards to discarding other people? Because it would save you effort? Just hilarious really

Guarded Marches is exactly what you've described

Low key, though, the ability to withhold realm buffs from villages is too easy for how significant it is. Especially considering how unrealistic it is to make a new realm late game, and the fact most villages won't have the ability to challenge to make way for a preferable realm.

If someone cares about you, you write the most powerful realm to come liberate you?
There are already ingame ways to easily deal with this?
Or you mean someone who has no contact with anyone and who just sits there?
Those people normally wouldn't have a realm anyway so it's not like it matters.
