Gilding Stones/Leaves should be gildable to jewelry

So yeah, I get why gemstones are basically the only gild option for rings and whatnot (less so why they're not gildable to other things but maybe I play too much Dwarf Fortress and encrust EVERYTHING with gems). But why doesn't 'this magic rock I got from a nature spirit' count as a precious stone? A lot of the gilding rock/leaves are pretty trash, but newbies could jam them into early beast rings and the like and feel important.

Would rather they give out unique gems or equivalent so it can be balanced separately as needed.
