Farming tools

Can we have some tools to make farming easier, like for example harvesting and replanting huge fields takes forever.

Like a sack that makes so u can spread seeds on 3 tiles infront of you would make things more managable. Or a seedplanter thats pushed by player or dragged by animal, also a harvesting machine to make it easier to harvest bigger fields.

To paraphrase previous discussions on this topic:

"If we make automation of bulk planting easier, you will not farm your fields faster. You will just farm larger fields until it takes the same amount of time again and then ask for more speed improvements"

Why don't you just farm smaller fields now? Because you want the food you find reasonable to acquire. More food is always good though, why wouldn't you keep more cows and make more pies? Because of the effort.

There is no reason why you can't reduce the size of your fields right now.

Well, seeder's speed could be tweaked in such a way that planting your crops would take same time like by hands but with less clicks.

Not meaning to be disrespectful, but do you know you can plant from buckets? Bucket planting requires little enough clicking that reducing it further seems unnecessary to me.

Can also shift right click to mass plant.

Ah sorry yes, I was assuming everyone knows how to massplant. But it's really not obvious or mentioned anywhere, so that's a good point.

Can also shift right click to mass plant.

And mass harvest, just to make it clear. (Just to note, same for mining, too... just be careful down there as you can easily mass-click outside a mine support.)

As sevenless pointed out above, the topic does come up frequently, at least once every world since I started playing. the "mass plant; mass harvest" interface was added to help players with the click volume.
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
