Wooden floors

Pretty simple, allow paving with wood, just like we do with stone.
Wooden boards would be more realistic, but I guess you could use blocks too... it would decay faster than stone pavements if left unclaimed, and it would change texture based on the wood used.

It would be especially good if we could use it inside buildings and mineholes.

Wood-plank-paving would be sweet. Not sure we can really support all the tile variants it would imply, though.

Thanks for giving it its own topic, but it was recently answered by jorb. Maybe one day he will change his mind or come with an easy way of doing it that won't need a wide variety of tile variants.
