Winter Wax?

Postby GrimReaper » Wed Apr 08, 2020 10:03 am

This may be intended but there is no way of getting wax during winter. Wild bee hives, crops and candle berries are all gone.

Solution:

Make candle berries not seasonal
Either keep current wild beehives or add fallen beehives at the bottom of a tree as a forageable

Are You sure that beehives don't keep producing wax? Even underground? I mean not as frequent and with good quality but last time I remember, some people were hoarding bad q beehive for wax on -1

If I am wrong, please, correct me on that.

IIRC a beehive takes 13 days to produce one unit of wax without crops so winter will be over by then anyway.

More generally, animal fat can be rendered down for tallow. Nasty to burn, but it's at least wax. (I've a feeling it'd be a bit OP, though.)
Opinions expressed in this statement are the authors alone and in no way reflect on the game development values of the actual developers.
