When hitting armored people in pvp (and now animals have armor too!) sharp weapons such as swords should start to blunt and do reduced damage until resharpened.

Why are you throwing a tantrum in public?

How is posting an appropriate thread in an appropriate forum a tantrum?

You can do the research yourself, sharp weapons don't just stay sharp forever - especially when making contact with hard surfaces/bones. It's illogical that they don't blunt and just stay the same as the day they were forged forever.

I didn't say anything about the idea; get your eyes checked.

It would fit with armor being perishable as well.
More material sink.
Even though OP thinks he is being a clever troll he managed to conjure up a good idea.
