With satiations now individualized, I don't see the point..

Satiation is global effect (persist from level to level), but variety bonus is local effect (resets from level to level). So I guess they do accomplish slightly different thing, but it is very similar.

It's only obnoxious to deal with if you're not ignoring it. Just act as if it isn't there (like I do since satiations got a rework) and it will be like it's removed from the game.
