Stockpilable meat

Postby Liss12 » Fri Apr 10, 2020 6:57 am

It is rare to see people butchering animals in their kitchen most of the time they do it near drying racks and tanning tubes in dedicated "leatherworker corner" and boi running back and forth with meat in your pockets takes lot of time. Our hunter butchered couple of animals the other day, stuffed all the meat inside his cabin and i spent about a hour just hauling meat the cooking spot. Things like this feels like an unrewarding chore and drive people away from the game. So what i think- meat should be stockpilable! This way you could quickly transport it with wheelbarrow and it would reduce tediousness of the game by quite a bit. Yes i know making a pile of fresh meat isnt very common practice IRL but its not that big of a stretch, we store it in cupboards for months anyway.

Please use search function. This post probably isn’t even the first time it was recommended.

Since there’s no limit on how much can be posted in this sub thread you really gotta use search function. Meat stockpiles have been recommended so many times that I’ll doubt they’ll ever be added.

This is strange tbh. Dews implemented a lot of much needed QoL features since legacy why not this one?

Maybe because meat is one of the few things you mass store. Maybe it’s gross to store meat in a stockpile on the ground or all in a barrel? Idk. Maybe whenever jorb tries to draw it it comes out looking gross.
