You can wheelbarrow Mulberry leaves in and out of Cabinets, I can't think of a reason this can't be done about coal from tarkilns.

I believe it's because leaves already exist when you wheelbarrow them in and out of cabinets while coal is generated when you harvest it from the tar kiln. Generated piece by piece.
So it doesn't exist until you collect it one by one, nothing to wheelbarrow.
Also wheelbarrow works with inventories(cabinets for example) and stockpiles. Tar kiln has neither.
So in order to implement it either tar kiln needs to get an inventory of 160 slots or become some sort of infinite stockpile for coal I guess.

Use search.

Idk. Will consider. Not sure I like multiplying options doing essentially the same thing with minor functional differences.

jorb wrote:I have made a note of this myself since before, but it is probably hard to do, as the coal pieces are created one at a time when you pick them, and have no prior existence. Will consider, but don't hold your breath.

here is your reply
considering is happening right now as we speak
now just wait for it

I could see why you'd like to but that's easier said than done.

Maybe let a "wheelbarrow click" start a process of generating not a single piece, but a coal stockpile (with a "pieces left to generate from this particular tar kiln" check) over, say, 10 seconds, and afterwards placing the stockpile into wheelbarrow.
