Make the game better not bloated with shit!

I have been playing this game since world 1 and I love the game so don't mistake this thread as shit talking. I completely understand that the game is being developed by 2 people and certain things take a long time. My beef is that no matter how many times people attempt to supply the game with an idea it is either ignored or flamed. I don't imagine that they should implement every single idea since nowadays most of them come from Shubla and they are completely dumbass ideas. We all know that Jorb has a huge ass document filled with ideas and/or fixes that he wants to look at but that list just seems to get bigger and bigger every day without actually implementing some "GOOD" content. Prime example would include an idea I had about reworking silk that people actually liked but nothing ever came of it. I understand this is not my game but as a long time player I wanted to contribute like so many others but somehow all we keep getting is more damn mushrooms.

My Idea: Please implement some of these "Will Consider" ideas.

J&L's gamedesign and descisions are what makes me stay in this game for already 9 years, and you - even more. Not everything might be superb, there are definitely flaws, but look at what good games become when trying to adapt to "mass consumer". No wonder why vanilla WoW was such a success. So I'd prefer Jorb's "will consider" rather than democraticly voted "good ideas" implemented. That's my opinion on that matter.

I think C&I should be entirely removed because most(all) ideas are retarded and coming from braindead people who obviously don't even play the game or are just trolling and shitposting.

How about we actually let jorb and loftar develop a game they want not the game we want instead of shitposting and coming up with useless ideas that make the game just more tedious and annoying for no reason, we really don't need bullshit and idiotic mechanics.

Rename Critique & Ideas to Critique & Feedback and let jorbtar develop their own game and just give them feedback and constructive criticism of a new mechanic they implemented and how it should maybe be improved or how we like it etc.

Prime example would include an idea I had about reworking silk that people actually liked but nothing ever came of it. I understand this is not my game but as a long time player I wanted to contribute like so many others but somehow all we keep getting is more damn mushrooms.

Some content is easier to develop than other content. In particular anything that's just a name, an image and a few numbers (e.g. new forageables or food items) should be trivial to develop technically if the system is built well, and the only real limiting factor is that stuff needs to add value design-wise. Reworking a mechanic takes a lot of design time and then requires far, far more work to implement than just adding an item or two.

Player feedback is important to understand the way players experience the game, and encouraging suggestions gives a lot of useful indirect feedback. Behind every non-shubla suggestion is an experience or set of experiences the player had that they were not satisfied with or felt did not achieve full potential. While suggestions are often shit, considering why the suggestion is made can reveal room for improvement.

Considering they rely financially on players paying for their game, yes, they are to some extent restricted in what they can and can't do. If Jorb wants winter to last 6 real-life months he's not going to be able to implement that idea without seriously risking his financial situation.
