"Clear snow" via some means

Postby vatas » Mon Apr 13, 2020 9:47 am

Title. Removing snow manually is not only tedious but carries the big likelihood of miss-clicking the ground and unintentionally digging massive hole in the middle of your carrot field.

Also copy the functionality from digging soil, so that when you clear snow it goes to existing snow piles.

Moderator note: given the frequency this keeps coming up, stickied until added or we get a flat "no" on the matter. Additionally, no more threads about "snow plows/shovels," either, please.

I've probably missed a couple of the threads on the matter of snow removal, and this was the oldest thread conveniently in the first couple of pages of C&I. I've no idea who first suggested this during w11 first without doing some research first, so credit should go to them.

2nd update: see my later post on what to discuss here. Thanks for your cooperation!

Clear snow AOE option would be nice. But I don't think that it should use survey land.

Adding aoe clear snow under the landscaping menu sounds great to me. It can use the same draw and energy mechanics as hand plow or stomp to dirt.

Area snow digging

Postby plopplop » Tue Apr 14, 2020 9:20 pm

Would it be possible to have something to be able to dig an area of snow, like how we plant / harvest a field for example ?

Should definitely be a thing. Like shift + dragging with dig option.
