Ladies and Gentleman and others of unspecified gender, I present You a brand new type of runestone!
Crafting recipe: 9x stone of the same type OR can be carved out of boulder (the bigger boulder, the more quantity will be carved)
Requires one of: Vandalism, Theft, Rage
Upon creation, it's just an item called "Oval runestone of Quartz/Meteorite/Cinnabar/etc." taking as much as 2x2 in your inventory!
Usage:
- On hearthling that was knocked out or killed AND they possess one of required skills.
- You can use the Oval runestone on the body or corpse of the fallen to create after 5-10 second period, a damn brand new "Bloody Runestone".
- The Bloody Runestone gains marks similar to those on typical runestone but with it's own style and with correct stone type to be fancy
Bloody Runestone can be either inspected from a far as 15 SQM (display case) or directly from inventory. Upon inspection, there's a text:
"This bloodstone blood marks belongs to Aceb. They were knocked out / killed by Chicken".
Another usage is to track and made an king-ly emote if tracked person is close.
If the tracked player is in vicinity of sight, it will point towards them with special emote but if they're even one square too far "The shamed hearthling is too far away!". However, both in inventory or in display case, if the marked person is alive, it will glow with bright red color. If the player is dead, it will have dark red color and tracking will be unavaible. "You cannot track whats belong to dead." [this is to prevent unlimited / unfair forever lasting tracking device]
Heartling that was used to create a bloody runestone from, gains 1 wound (please jorb, from regenerating pool so it can't be used to kill somebody with 1HP left) named "Marked with a stone" that heals overtime (as long as body turning into skeleton takes). A person with such wound cannot be marked again until it heals away.
People being close to this event (bloody stone making) taking a place, that are redhanded or outlawed, are subjected to a chance of getting +300XP event of "Stone balls". Not so rare but to prevent some form or possible farm exploit.
TL;DR = create an item that will be a stone trophy and You could flex with having your own meteorite dearest friend enemy name on it, without abusable but "fun mechanic" to it + experience event
Here comes the problem to discuss:
Should the names on the stone be presentation name, original name or memorized/kinned name of the player performing ritual?
Who's name should appear on stone next to victim? The person doing the marking or the person who did K.O/Kill or did the most damage?
Should there be two or three names in case of multiple gangbang?
