Why a man will need so many key?

mostly for gates(for example if you want to have different locks for separate layer of wall/brickwall and palisade/walls on different underground layers) but also to lock knarr / snekkja if you have a few of those

it's not like I asked for 10x10 inventory for that keyring and it's not like this is something important, but still nice to have

What is disadvantage to key all of these with fewer lock? I will have one key for all boats and one key for all gates myself. This is some security risk for me?

maybe not, but if you want to organise things in certain ways this might be useful

and if you get knocked out and someone takes away a slave key to all your ships you will have to change locks for all of them

of course you can always drop the key into water if needed, but why not prevent the additional work just incase you don't do it?
