We needs the concept of "shredded meat" in the game right now more than ever and I'm going to explain why.
I have been thinking for a long time now that the process of making fat cuts is incredibly wasteful. If we are cutting away the fat, what is happening to the leftover meat?!
Also, in Salem every time you butcher an animal you get some amount of meat shreds along with the respective amount of actual "meat cuts" as well. This just makes sense. It's implied that we are just tossing all the bits of meat that don't cut in to a nice looking steak on to the ground like they are worthless?
Unacceptable.
This could add some real usefulness to some of the lesser used meats in the game, as well as the new massive plethora of smoked meats.
We should be able to process smoked meats in to smoked fat/smoked meat shreds. A new type of fat could be SUPER FUN and having some new food recipes for smoked meats could be fun as well. Think like basic stir fries, jerky, pemican, stews. Lots of great possibilities here.
