Quest rewards

Replace random flower quality +1 with local base resource quality. Like +1 to local soil/water/sand/clay (with check if there any around) quality.
won't be too much OP, and removes raging about shitty rewards

But I have q80 dandelions and q70 spindly taproots which are clearly very useful after 2 months and most importantly above all, dandelions don't go obsolete after day 2.

+1 increased quality of local dandelion.

I wonder how far "local" goes though, is it even more than 1 minimap?

Quest rewards altogether need to be looked at. I random rewards, in theory would provide a lil dopamine because you know, gambling. But the effort related to the chances of getting something useful outside of week 1, don't line up for anything pleasurable. And if you're just doing it for experience, youll have to hope you get an experience reward and hope it's an amount that means anything. There should be a static option to always get a static amount of experience, and another for a random one?

I haven't quested outside of week 1 because how thrilling is it to do captivating activities to really gain your attention and spark excitement such as; Take a naked swim! (wow how fun), Go crack a joke at some other tree! (wow I am a miner and being on this god forsaken surface is the last thing I want to do).

Quests don't scale with your progression and that sucks.

Quality buff reward should spread over huge areas, not only certain spot, otherwise buffed animals, critters, herbs should be reconsidered, or even deleted from buff-able list.

hey! Stay on topic, please... we're talking about the possibility to make better resources, not about how bad quest rewards are)

Just yesterday I talked to a tree and here's how it went:
Me: Here's a trout you asked for.
Tree: And the quality +1 increase goes to... CHASMCONCH!
Me: Bless you!
Tree: What
Me: What

If you consider "world bosses" as a semi-localised resource, the system is already in place, devs should just extrapolate it all the way to localised ones. +1

I would also like to roll 3 options. Choosing 1 lesser evil out of 3 is more enjoyable than just getting some trash.

You should immediately stop thinking that way! don't ever underestimate jorb's imagination - he can easily create a bunch of additional rewards so retarded, that you would recall +1 to dandelions as a true pleasure.

I was doing Herder's credo back in w10 and got a bunch of quests where I had to travel all across the world with a stupid pig just to discover that quest-giver was a stone... and we talked like:
- you asked me to tether a pig for you?
- yes
- you do realize you are a stone?
- maybe
- well, you ARE a stone and I just can't tether an animal on you...
- ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

so I kinda in touch with it.
