Villages should have a chat history, you should be able to see at least some of the messages sent to the village chat before you logged in.
Too often I switch characters/restart the client and log to the same character as intended while there is some discussion in the village chat, and then miss some of the messages.

Yeah you can use discord or client modifications for it, but that is kind of boring.

A shared mild annoyance, Sir. Should be addressed eventually.
Once a friend made a bot which put in discord what was in village chat and vice versa. Horrible idea xD. The village fell in riot.
