Maybe all the burning of coal in the smelters and branches in the ovens has caused climate change in hearthlands and now we rarely have snow in the winter anymore! No fun allowed!

Once again too late for the current winter, but alas, bump.

winter is already shorter than an week, and there is not an single spot of snow down here, at this rate i will be happy if were even seeing snow,
i hope it isnt tied to rainfall now, cause it hasnt rained in any of the neighbouring provinces for about 8 rl days now,

Heck yeah, day 1 of winter should be a 24hr blizzard, and pure white for the next 4 days.

How about the world had zones like far north and far south winter lasts longer.
This way people could choose in what type of climate they want to live in. I mean, rain is already a local phenomenon, why not snow too. Just in a more permanent basis.
This could also give the option to some people willing to travel far from their base for some seasonal foragables.

finally snow fell, about 50% (like there is an straight line border right in the middle) of my plot suddenly and at once got snowed in at precicely 6:00 of the 3th day of winter. that means 1/5 of winter is already gone, noice.

Back when winter was long we got weeks at a time usage out of the kicksled, winter was never given a fair chance because of people crying about farming. So much since then has been implemented (bark cordage for string, etc) and now greenhouses so the farmers can stop crying. MAKE WINTER LONG AGAIN!
